Endeavouring to cause Olympic Games host China to "lose face," 'the City of London' stirred unrest in Tibet, violence in China's Muslim provinces, and was accused of causing the deadly earthquakes in Sichuan. While all eyes are on the Games, 'the City' has an Armada steaming to blockade the Gulf. By this act of war she is threatening to strike Iran should she dare defend herself against an unprovoked and cowardly Israeli attack. George II and 'the City' are "preparing the way of the kings of the East," for although China is presently engaged with the Olympics, she relies on Iran for much of her oil imports and can retaliate without firing a shot simply by selling down the US dollar.
Russia, which is also financing the US economy, has said that owing to her own national interests an attack on Iran will be viewed as an attack on Russia. So to keep Russia busy on her own borders 'the City's' client state Georgia viciously attacked South Ossetia. Our Zionist-controlled media has lied claiming Russia invaded Georgia, just as they lied claiming Germany invaded Poland, when both Russia and Germany retaliated in response to the genocide of their own people. With US military "advisers" and over 1,000 Israeli "mercenaries" actively engaged in combat, Georgia attacked Ossetia, raping, slaughtering and destroying its towns.
In ancient times Georgia was overrun by the Khazars who attacked Russia for a thousand years until 1917 when Khazar Jews invaded from the East Side of New York City and conquered, murdering her Royal Family and sixty-six million nominal Christians. These criminals were masterminded and funded by Wall Street which, like the United States, is ruled by 'the City of London.'
In his "audio letters" Dr. Peter Beter claimed the Khazars are using the United States to her own destruction in order to reconquer Russia and take over the world. Russia's Medvedev Orders Halt to Military Action in Georgia
August 12, 2008 – Dmitri Medvedev, a close ally of Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin, said the military operation against Georgia sparked by fighting over the disputed breakaway republic of South Ossetia had accomplished its goals.
"The security of our peacekeepers and civilians has been restored," Medvedev said in a statement broadcast on television. "The aggressor has been punished and suffered very significant losses. Its military has been disorganized". . .

Israel backs Georgia in Caspian Oil Pipeline Battle with Russia
August 8, 2008 – Georgian tanks and infantry, aided by Israeli military advisers, captured the capital of breakaway South Ossetia, Tskhinvali, early Friday, August 8, bringing the Georgian-Russian conflict over the province to a military climax. . .
Last year, the Georgian president commissioned from private Israeli security firms several hundred military advisers, estimated at up to 1,000, to train the Georgian armed forces in commando, air, sea, armored and artillery combat tactics. They also offer instruction on military intelligence and security for the central regime. Tbilisi also purchased weapons, intelligence and electronic warfare systems from Israel.
These advisers were undoubtedly deeply involved in the Georgian army's preparations to conquer the South Ossetian capital Friday.
In recent weeks, Moscow has repeatedly demanded that Jerusalem halt its military assistance to Georgia, finally threatening a crisis in bilateral relations. Israel responded by saying that the only assistance rendered Tbilisi was "defensive." This has not gone down well in the Kremlin. George Soros behind Attempt to start World War III in the Caucasus
(Rothschild's) George Soros is the financial and political godfather of both Georgian President Mikhail Saakashvili and the purported Democratic Party Presidential nominee, Sen. Barack Obama (D-Ill.). In the late hours of August 7, as [Jewish] President Saakashvili completed a nationwide television address, claiming to seek a diplomatic solution to the crisis in the autonomous region of South Ossetia, he in fact ordered Georgian troops to fire on Russian peacekeepers, who were in South Ossetia as part of a United Nations mandated force, that has been there since 1994.
Soros' own Open Society Institute boasts that it was the backbone of the so-called "Rose Revolution" that swept Saakashvili into power in 2003-2004. As of January 2004, the Soros Open Society Institute, which first set up its office in Tbilisi, the capital of Georgia, in 1994, began directly bankrolling the Georgian government, as part of a joint program with the United Nations' UNDP (United Nations Development Program), then headed by Mark Malloch Brown, who is now secretary general of the British Foreign and Commonwealth Office. Malloch Brown was so close to Soros, during his tenure at the UN, that he lived in an apartment he rented from the hedge fund speculator.
Saakashvili's reckless provocations, in firing on Russian troops and killing South Ossetian civilians, who are predominantly Russian citizens, drew a strong military response from Russia, which is bound, under its constitution, to defend Russian citizens under attack. The British have been behind the destabilisation of the Caucasus region since the collapse of the Soviet Union, funding and arming Chechen rebels, allowing recruitment into the Chechen separatist movements at mosques in England, and providing safe haven to Russian Mafiya figures like Boris Berezovsky who bankrolled anti-Russian separatist and terrorist operations in the Caucasus.

War in the Caucasus: Towards a Broader Russia-US Military Confrontation?
August 10, 2008 – During the night of August 7, coinciding with the opening ceremony of the Beijing Olympics, Georgia's president Saakashvili ordered an all-out military attack on Tskhinvali, the capital of South Ossetia.
The aerial bombardments and ground attacks were largely directed against civilian targets including residential areas, hospitals and the university. The provincial capital Tskhinvali was destroyed. The attacks resulted in some 1,500 civilian deaths, according to both Russian and Western sources. "The air and artillery bombardment left the provincial capital without water, food, electricity and gas. Horrified civilians crawled out of the basements into the streets as fighting eased, looking for supplies" (AP, August 9, 2008). According to reports, some 34,000 people from South Ossetia have fled to Russia (Deseret Morning News, Salt Lake City, August 10, 2008).
The importance and timing of this military operation must be carefully analyzed. It has far-reaching implications.
Georgia is an outpost of US and NATO forces, on the immediate border of the Russian Federation and within proximity of the Middle East Central Asian war theater. South Ossetia is also at the crossroads of strategic oil and gas pipeline routes.
Georgia does not act militarily without the assent of Washington. The Georgian head of State is a US proxy and Georgia is a de facto US protectorate. . .
US-NATO military and intelligence planners invariably examine various "scenarios" of a proposed military operation— i.e. in this case, a limited Georgian attack largely directed against civilian targets, with a view to inflicting civilian casualties. . . A humanitarian disaster rather than a military victory was an integral part of the scenario. The objective was to destroy the provincial capital, while also inflicting a significant loss of human life. If the objective were to restore Georgian political control over the provincial government, the operation would have been undertaken in a very different fashion . . .
Georgia was "encouraged" by NATO and the US. Both Washington and NATO headquarters in Brussels were acutely aware of what would happen in the case of a Russian counterattack. . . While NATO and US military advisers did not partake in the military operation per se, they were actively involved in the planning and logistics of the attacks. According to Israeli sources (Debka.com, August 8, 2008), the ground assault on August 7-8, using tanks and artillery was "aided by Israeli military advisers". . .
It is worth noting that under a March 31, 2006, agreement between Tblisi and Moscow, Russia's two Soviet-era military bases in Georgia—Akhalkalaki and Batumi have been closed down (Ria Novosti, 26 May 2006). The pullout at Batumi commenced in May of last year, 2007. The last remaining Russian troops left the Batumi military facility in early July 2008, barely a week before the commencement of the US-Georgia war games and barely a month prior to the attacks on South Ossetia. . .
The Western media has portrayed the Russian as solely responsible for the deaths of civilians, yet at the same time the Western media has acknowledged (confirmed by the BBC) that most of the civilian casualties at the outset were the result of the Georgian ground and air attacks.
A process of escalation and confrontation between Russia and America is unfolding, reminiscent of the Cold War era.

Revelation 11:8, "The dead bodies of Israel's two murdered prophets [Zechariah 4] will soon lie dead in the street of the great city, Jerusalem, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified." A Voice from the Four Horns of the Golden Altar
Revelation 9:13-16, 'And the sixth angel sounded, and I heard a voice from the four horns of the golden altar which is before God, Saying to the sixth angel which had the trumpet, "Loose the four angels which are bound in the great river Euphrates." And the four angels were loosed, which were prepared for an hour, and a day, and a month, and a year, to slay the third part of men. And the army of the horsemen numbered two hundred thousand thousand: and I heard the number of them'.
Whose was this Voice that commanded the Sixth Trumpet Angel, which was the theophany of John Wesley the angel to the Philadelphian Age? Who set an open door to the nations in that great missionary day and said, 'I will make them of the synagogue of Satan, who say they are Jews (or elect of God), and are not, but do lie; I will make them to come and worship before your feet and know that I have loved you ' (Revelation 3:9)?
The object of the four angels and their 200 million demons is the persecution of the Israelites. These four had been 'prepared (or made ready) for a specific point in time to slay the third part of man,' which is Israel—not Jews (Revelation 9:15). That epoch was the Armistice of World War I whereby the "Allies," which are puppet states of the International Banksters of 'the City of London,' deceived a victorious Germany into disarming in order to prevent their own defeat and to launch the League of Nations, their premature and failed attempt at forcing Lucifer's one world government. Bolshevist so-called Jews invaded Germany and established the Weimar Republic. The Treaty of Versailles was not a solution, but a careless and vengeful reprimand that only protracted and intensified hatred and the same problems as before. In 1921 the Allied Reparations committee handed Germany a bill for 132 billion gold marks. As with the Asian financial crisis engineered by the Banksters from 1997-1999, hyperinflation was the tool whereby German wealth was transferred to the interlopers granted credit in US dollars by International Banksters to purchase German assets valued in worthless Marks. Rapine coupled with impossible reparations and the abhorrent immorality of the corrupt and debauched Weimar regime ensured the next step in the plan—World War II to make the world a safe place for Judaeo-Communism, and establish the United Nations provisional one world government.
As planned by the 'hidden hand,' Adolf Hitler and the National Socialists rose up in moral outrage and patriotic rebellion, defeating the Jewish invaders at the polls. Unbeknownst to Hitler and his Party they were pawns in a conspiracy of 'the City of London' which directed and funded their rise to power and their prosecution of World War II, which was funded by Rothschild's Bank of England and associated banks. In the nineteenth century the International Banksters had commissioned Professor Baron Karl von Ritter to devise National Socialism as the antithesis to Rothschild's International Socialism which Karl Marx was simultaneously employed to update as Communism with the objective of bringing them into controlled conflict in World War II. In 1933 World Jewry declared war when Hitler refused the banksters demand to return Germany to servitude under Rothschild's Gold Standard. Hitler bypassed the blackmail of Babylonian fractional reserve banking, conquered hyperinflation and restored full employment with the result that Germany prospered and came to enjoy the highest living standard of any nation prior to World War II.
By a Machiavellian series of international treaties 'the City' was able to force World War II upon Germany as they would force it on Japan and are now forcing "hot stage" of World War III on Iran, Russia (by provocations in Serbia, Georgia, Czechoslovakia, Poland and Iran), and China (by provocations in Tibet, the Sichuan earthquake, Muslim uprisings, and Iran), setting conditions for Armageddon.
The purpose of God in both World Wars was to restore the Israelites back to Palestine. God deals with Israel's elect as a nation simultaneously, and only in the homeland. Knowing they would not voluntarily forsake the comforts of civilization to return to the primitive waste of Palestine of He allowed a persecution to arise that would FORCE their return. Satan's purpose was also to establish a state in Palestine in order to impersonate the people and nation of Israel. As the Israelites reside in the Muslim countries of the ancient Assyrian empire where they will remain until Daniel's Seventieth Week(Isaiah 6:10-13; 11:11; 27:13; Jeremiah 3:12, 18; 16:15; 23:8; 31:8; Ezekiel 39:27; Micah 5:3), the brunt of the persecution mastered by the Zionists fell on the imposters of Revelation 2:9 and 3:9.
One of the Brethren observed, "For years, the big problem or stumbling block for me was the deception by the Jews wherein they absconded with the name Israel and then perverted it in 1948 at the establishment of their racist (and to my mind, illegal) state which they called Israel. Obviously it was a sleight of hand bordering on genius but nonetheless as diabolical as one could imagine, and for generations of non-Jews growing up in a culture permeated with Jewish mind-controlling devices it worked its wonders for them in that it confused the minds of any earnest seekers of Truth when it came to a proper reading and understanding of exactly who the Israelites of the Bible were and are, and what their path and purpose was in terms of God's unfolding covenant with them. From my perspective it is as great a hoax or greater than the holocaust myth as it laid a foundation for deceiving so many seekers".
The four angels are the 'princes' or demons to whom the prophet Daniel attributed control of Babylon, whose dominion was succeeded by Medo-Persia which in turn yielded to Greece, which became incorporated into the Imperial Rome Empire that was transformed into Papal Rome and will rule to the consummation. These angels were bound 'at', 'by', or 'in' the River Euphrates which was the eastern boundary of the Roman Empire whence came Israel's historical devastators. It has been several hundred years since Papal Rome commanded armies on the battlefield and her power now depends upon psychological control, supposedly the influence of the Holy Spirit through the revealed Word of God. Unfortunately her power is the conspiracy to conceal that revelation and elevate herself above anything that is worshipped or even 'called god.' The power of the Papacy lies in deceit and political intrigue on the big stage, and in fear and superstition among the masses.
These four Satanic princes were bound for almost 2,000 years by Roman dogma and quasi-Christian traditions signified as the 'great river Euphrates' (Feast of Trumpets, p. 23:182). These angels were released from Papal control by the apostate spirit of Laodicea, which means 'rights of the people,' or 'communism,' and pervades the governments, churches and institutions of our once Christian nations. This narcissistic spirit laid the ground for the independence which has come to colonies, individuals and groups since the Second World War (Luke 21:29-31) and will one day 'burn the whore with atomic fire' (Revelation 17:16-17).
The four angels loosed from the power of the river Euphrates in Revelation 9 are the same spirits we saw in Revelation 7, 'holding the four winds' or restraining the war and strife that will culminate in Armageddon. They are the 'princes' of Persia, Grecia, etc., forbidden by God to hurt the beast from the earth, and the beast from the sea, or harm anyone, until the 144,000 elect Israelites are sealed by the Holy Ghost. It was God's command of Revelation 7:2-3 mysteriously stopped World War I. Had He not "shortened the days there should have been no flesh saved for the rapture" (Matthew 24:22).
The beast from the earth is the United States of America. In the seventh of seven consecutive visions shown to Brother Branham in 1933 he saw the whole nation asmolder from a blanket nuclear attack by Russia. In 1961 he said, "One of these mornings, there'll be a disappearing, and one of these nights, there'll be a disappearing; and the church will be changed and caught up to meet Jesus in the air. And woe unto this bunch then. They'll gnaw their tongues for pain, when the atomic sweeps into the nation, burns eyes out, and runs like water down, and tongues are gnawed for pain, and screaming, just one bomb bursting after another. You'll remember how much it was mental telepathy, how much it was a bunch of holy-rollers or fanatics. Remember, God knows what He's a doing. Yes, sir" (Abraham and His Seed after Him, #61-0423).
The beast from the sea is the Roman Catholic church. After the 144,000 elect Israelites are sealed into the Kingdom a Russian nuclear attack will blast Vatican City State from the land of Italy (Revelation 17:1-18:20).
Because a word is a thought expressed and that thought is inspired by either the Holy Spirit or some unholy spirit, words transmit spirits. With the Reformation came the development of printing and the availability of knowledge in books. Literacy followed wherever the Gospel went. Not only did good men recognize the fraud of Romanism but bad men took the mark of the beast by carnal reasoning against the written and revealed Word. And as the Holy Spirit was carried by the Word of faith, Satan's spirit was transmitted in the writings of people like Darwin, Blavatsky, Nietzsche, Besant, Marx, Hegel, Robes Pierre, Ritter and Rothschild, arguing against God and His misunderstood Word by scientific reasoning and dialectics, which is hubris. Hubris is anathema to any belief requiring faith and submission in faith, and fertile ground for anarchy (bb950219.htm).
Scientific enlightenment put the lie to the bluff of Roman dogma. When Satan found the house swept clean of Catholic superstition and man-made traditions but unoccupied by Christian faith, he moved in with seven other spirits more wicked than scientific knowledge had evicted. This egilatarian spirit loosed the authority that had bound the four angels at the River Euphrates.
These four angels were prepared or made ready 'for an hour, and a day, and a month, and a year, to slay the third part of men' (Daniel, 28:117; Ten Virgins, 442:89-111; Feast of Trumpets, 30:231, 297). World War I stopped mysteriously at the eleventh hour on the eleventh day of the eleventh month in 1918. The main result of the war in the overruling of God's all-wise purpose was the recovery of Jerusalem and the Holy Land from the Turkish empire.
The Balfour Declaration and the League of Nations were important criminal developments of that time. Like its successor, the United Nations, the League was an device of the self-styled Jew to gain power over the goiim. Truly did Jesus declare, 'the love of money is the root of all evil'. These organizations have united the nations against God. They've united East and West when Moses taught that God has set "enmity" between them and Daniel foretold they cannot hold together. They've relit the time bomb of original sin by mixing diverse peoples, religions and cultures, "as it was in the days of Noah" (Matthew 24:37) to generate anarchy whereby they can divide, conquer and rule the world (Feast of Trumpets, 20:155-209). Worldliness has eclipsed the Sun, a type of Christ the Light of the World, so that the stars or ministers no longer shine His Light, bringing darkness upon the Moon or church.
The Armistice, which was betrayed by the Jew-controlled Allies, set the stage for the Jewish persecution planned by the Zionists whose Khazar forefathers were proselyted overnight when Talmudic Jews from Babylon converted king Bulan. They now identify with the self-styled Edomite Jews and have been expelled from Great Britain and practically every European kingdom since their conversion in the eighth century AD. Their leaders made Germany's war reparations so severe, the spirit of the old Holy Roman Empire revived, 'to slay the third part of men.' So thorough was their deception of assuming Israel's identity, the persecution fell on themselves rather than Israelites (who do not dwell in the Western world). I do not believe in the myth of six million Jews being gassed, or even a fraction of that number, and Jews were a minority of those who perished by disease or old age, and there were no extermination gas chambers.
Among the Ashkenazim were doubtless some genuine Semites descended from Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, but these were so comfortable in Europe, the only way God could move them back to the Bible and the Promised Land was by force. God takes His man, but not His Spirit, and the Devil tales his man and puts his spirits upon another sinner. Exodus 16:3, 'The children of Israel said unto Moses and Aaron, "Would to God we had died by the hand of the Lord in the land of Egypt, when we sat by the flesh pots, and when we ate bread to the full; for you have brought us forth into this wilderness, to kill this whole assembly with hunger".' Those spirits prevail today. How they loved their garlic and leeks. Despite the persecution in Europe, once war was over they wanted to return to their old homes. Knowing their own, and not to miss an opportunity, Zionists forcibly and illegally shipped millions against their will to Palestine, and multitudes of emigrees to the USA and other lands were unprepared to forsake material well-being to obey the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob adopted by king Bulan. Revelation 9:20-21 'The rest of the men who were not killed by these plagues yet repented not of the works of their hands, that they should not worship devils, and idols of gold, and silver, and brass, and stone, and of wood: which can neither see, nor hear, nor walk: Neither did they repent of their murders, nor of their sorceries, nor of their fornication, nor of their thefts'.
Demon worship! The idol is nothing, but the heathen deity it represents is a solemn reality. The idol is an image or likeness of the demon. I Corinthians 10:19-21, 'What say I then? that the idol is anything, or that which is offered in sacrifice to idols is anything? But I say, that the things which the Gentiles sacrifice, they sacrifice to DEMONS, and not to God: and I would not that you should have fellowship with demons. You cannot drink the cup of the Lord, and the cup of demons: you cannot be partakers of the Lord's table, and of the table of DEMONS'. Their idols are mammon, the industry of their own hands, and since they claim they are their own messiah, themselves.
Now let's just confirm what we have said so-far with what Brother Branham taught in "An Exposition of the Seven Church Ages." We will quote from pages 291:1-292:1; 293:3 and 297:3 but I commend you to read the full text of the paragraphs in between.
'"Behold, I will make them of the synagogue of Satan, which say they are Jews, and are not, but do lie; I will make them to come and worship before thy feet, and to know that I have loved thee". . . deals with the Jews who have always called themselves the children of God to the exclusion of everyone else. They crucified and killed the Lord Jesus Christ. Their terrible deed brought their own blood upon their own heads for centuries. All because they refused Jesus as their Messiah, Which indeed He was. To them He was not the Coming One, or the Son of David; to them He was Beelzebub, or some unrighteous one fit only for destruction. . ."
"They sought their righteousness after the law and failed miserably, for by the law can no flesh be justified. By the law can no man be made holy. Holiness is of the Lord. I Corinthians 1:30, "But of HIM are ye in Christ Jesus, Who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption." II Corinthians 5:21,b, "That we might be made the righteousness of God in Him." It was Christ or perish, and they perished for they refused Him."
"And men of Jesus' age as even today were making the same mistake. As the Jews took refuge in the synagogue form of worship, so in the Philadelphian Age they were taking refuge in the church. It is not joining a church that counts. The life is not in the church. The life is in Christ. . . "
"But the Jews back there in the time of Jesus did not want to accept that sacrifice. The blood of bulls and goats made nothing perfect. It was once God's ordained method. But now Christ having appeared in the flesh, and by the shedding of His own blood has put away sin and by that offering of Himself has made us perfect. The Jews would not take that. But what about that Philadelphian Age, and, yes, the other ages, too? Did they really accept this reality in Christ? No sir. Even though Luther brought the truth of justification, the Romish Church, and its eastern counterpart, the Orthodox Church, still clung to works. Now works are fine, but they don't save you. They don't make you perfect. It is Christ or perish. And it is not even Christ AND works. It is Christ alone. This age began the years of Arminianism that does not believe in Christ as the REALITY. It does not sing of "Nothing but the Blood," for it sings of "Nothing but the blood AND my own conduct". . .
"Jesus set Himself forth as He That is holy, true, (or the only REALITY) the One with the key of David, the One Who opened and shut. And that is exactly true. Those phrases describe Him perfectly. But the Jews in His day refused Him and all He was. They rejected their Savior and all He meant to them. And the nominal Christian has now done the same. They have done what the Jews did exactly. The Jews crucified Him and then turned on the true believer. The nominal Christian has crucified Him afresh and turned on the true church to destroy it..."
The question asked was, 'Whose was this Voice from the four horns of the golden altar that commanded the Sixth Trumpet Angel?' It would appear as if guilt had been contracted in respect of some ritual in which the horns of the altar were concerned. To help us to understand this secret we need to gain a little understanding of Old Testament history.
There were three services in the Mosaic ritual associated with the horns of the golden altar. First was the occasional atoning service for sins of IGNORANCE by the ANOINTED PRIEST who therein brought sin upon the people, because as Mediator between them and God, his uncleanliness would sever their communion with God (Leviticus 4:1-7). The second was when it is DISCOVERED that the WHOLE CONGREGATION have sinned through IGNORANCE and is thus out of fellowship (Leviticus 4:13-18). The third was that of the annual day of ATONEMENT (Exodus 30:10 and Leviticus 16:18).
The beasts were to be slain at the door of the tabernacle which was close by the altar of sacrifice, and then immediately some of their blood was to be put upon the horns of the altar where the people approach God, and the rest poured out at the bottom of the altar of burnt offering.
The sacrifice was to be a substitute for themselves. Life for life. The blood was the token or evidence that the life had been given. As the evidence of an acceptable life, the blood was a cleansing. In gratitude for God's redeeming blood Christians offer their lives, not to be slain on the altar, but as a living sacrifice to be bound to the altar. We sacrifice our self-will and a life of prayer and praise in which our hearts are to be engaged and fixed, as the sacrifice was bound to the altar. There was power associated with the horns of the altar, because it was here that Israel approached God through the cleansing blood and mediation of the priest.
In I Kings 1:50-53 we read of Adonijah, David's fourth son, who declared himself king on David's impending death. When informed, David anointed Solomon; Adonijah feared because of Solomon and arose and went and caught hold on the horns of the altar. And it was told Solomon, saying, "Behold, Adonijah FEARETH king Solomon: for, lo, he hath caught hold on the horns of the altar, saying, 'Let king Solomon swear unto me to day that he will not slay his servant with the sword'."
And Solomon said, "If he will shew himself a worthy man, there shall not an hair of him fall to the earth: but if wickedness shall be found in him, he shall die".
So king Solomon sent, and they brought him down from the altar. And he came and bowed himself to king Solomon: and Solomon said unto him, "Go to thine house".'
Adonijah fled to the altar for protection and safety. To take hold of the horns was to claim right of sanctuary, a right which might be usual by moral considerations but which the Law denied to WILLFUL murderers. Exodus 21:14, 'But if a man come presumptuously upon his neighbour, to slay him with guile; thou shalt take him from My altar, that he may die.' Accordingly this right was refused to Joab who sided with Adonijah.
I Kings 2:28-34, 'Then tidings came to Joab: for Joab had turned after Adonijah, though he turned not after Absalom. And Joab fled unto the tabernacle of the LORD, and caught hold on the horns of the altar.
And it was told king Solomon that Joab was fled to the tabernacle of the LORD; and, "behold, he is by the altar". Then Solomon sent Benaiah the son of Jehoiada, saying, "Go, fall upon him".
And Benaiah came to the tabernacle of the Lord, and said unto him, "Thus saith the king, 'Come forth'." And he said, "Nay; but I will die here". And Benaiah brought the king word again, saying, "Thus said Joab, and thus he answered me".
And the king said unto him, "Do as he has said, and fall upon him, and bury him; that you may take away the innocent blood, which Joab shed, from me, and from the house of my father. Their blood shall therefore return upon the head of Joab, and upon the head of his seed for ever: but upon David, and upon his seed, and upon his house, and upon his throne, shall there be peace for ever from the Lord." So Benaiah the son of Jehoiada went up, and fell upon him, and slew him: and he was buried in his own house in the wilderness.'
Oh, can you see how Job (whose name means 'Jehovah is Father'), types the Jews under the Sixth Trumpet of Revelation 9? They claim God as their father, to the exclusion of all others. Adonijah, whose name means 'my Lord is Jehovah', was, on the other hand, representative of those worthy Israelite martyrs who receive mercy under the Fifth Seal. In his acknowledgment of the lordship of king Solomon, who is a type of Christ, he represented his usurpation as an act of haste and inadvertinency to which sanctuary was conceded.
Amos 3:14 is a prophecy of relentless wrath upon Bethel whence all the evils which spread through the ten tribes originated (Hosea 4:15-17; 8:11; 10:5). 'I shall visit the transgressions of Israel upon Jacob, I will also visit the altars of Bethel (the seat of worship in Ephraim on the border of Benjamin): and the horns of the altar shall be cut off, and fall to the ground'. The fugitive from vengeance having thus made contact with parts of the altar where union with God was affected by the blood of the sacrifice, was regarded as a protected sojourner with God. The hand of the avenger was thus stayed till his case was considered and settled; if possible without bloodshed. (A study of Israel's cities of refuge would be appropriate but that is not our purpose tonight).
The voice coming from the bloody horns which were one with the golden altar before God's throne in heaven is four in unison. It is a cry for vengeance, and one which summons retributive judgment and indicates that the horns of the altar have contracted guilt, not innocence, saying, "It is time 'to finish the transgression, make and end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to confirm the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy.' It's time gather to Israel those who take hold of the horns of the altar; to 'measure the temple of God and them that worship therein' and determine who may be pardoned through IGNORANCE. Time to gather to Armageddon the accursed with the beast, the kings of the earth and their armies, and invite 'the fowls of the air to gather together unto the Supper of the great God, that they may feast on their flesh' (Daniel 9:24; Revelation 11:1; 19:17-21).
The voice from the four horns of the golden altar which is before God is like the voice of Solomon when it said, 'fall upon him, and bury him; that you may take away the innocent blood. . . from me, and from the house of my father. Their blood shall therefore return upon the head of Joab, and upon the head of his seed for ever: but upon David, and upon his seed, and upon his house, and upon his throne, shall there be peace for ever from the Lord".
Now regarding Israel's national Day of ATONEMENT. The blood of the most important sin offering (Christ) had been applied to the horns of the Golden altar. The incense might only be burned on living coals taken from the Altar of Burnt Offering which clearly indicates the intercessory work of Christ is based on His accomplished sacrificial work and acceptable only on that basis. And the daily ministration at the temple culminated in the burning of incense which symbolised the ministry of intercession. The animal ritual of the Day of Atonement reached its highest point when the high priest passed beyond the Veil with the atoning blood. In the temple ceremony, Revelation 9:13-15 would have been some time before Revelation 8:1-5, which shows intercession, grace and mercy are over and God is about to reveal Himself to Israel in Daniel's Seventieth Week.
The voice from the horns of the altar of incense in heaven are one with the altar and therefore one with God. Like the 'voice of many waters' in Revelation 1 which is the combined testimony of all the New Testament saints, it would appear that this voice must be that of the Old Testament saints. This seems confirmed by Revelation 11:15-19, 'And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, "The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of His Christ; and He shall reign for ever and ever".
And the four and twenty elders, which sat before God on their seats, fell upon their faces, and worshipped God, Saying, "We give Thee thanks, O Lord God Almighty, which art, and wast, and art to come; because You have taken Your great power, and reigned. And the nations were angry, and Your wrath is come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that You should give reward to Your servants the prophets, and to the saints, and them that fear Your Name, small and great; and should destroy them who destroy the earth".
And the temple of God in heaven was opened, and there was seen in His temple the ark of His testament: and there were lightnings, and voices, and thunderings, and an earthquake, and great hail.'
The unanimity of prayer from the Old Testament saints, like Daniel of old who understood from the prophecies of Jeremiah that the seventy years of the desolations of Jerusalem were almost complete (Daniel 9:2), shows their awareness that the times of the Gentiles are drawing to an end. They desired God to put Israel back in the Homeland to hasten the Coming of the King. They tell the Sixth Trumpet Angel to loose Israel's historical enemies from bondage to Roman dogma. Their loosing brought great persecution upon the so-called Jews, but in the providence of God has re-established the Homeland where the Israelites will return in the first half of Daniel's Seventieth Week. bb960626.htm
